The world is full of hard-hearted people. Child of God, we must not be numbered among them. Believers in Jesus have new hearts. Hearts which should be tender, but the believer’s heart may become hardened if we are careless. Tender hearts are compassionate hearts. Jesus was moved by compassion, and His followers must be as well. As Christ’s followers we need to embrace empathy. Open your heart to a need that you see in your family, church, or community. Pray and trust God to lead and enable you to help meet that need and live that way.
